The Ileach is a young, intensely peaty single malt from an undisclosed Islay distillery, available at 40% ABV and 58% cask strength. Bottled by Highlands & Islands Whisky Co. Ltd., it proudly bears the moniker 'a true man from Islay.' Immensely popular in Sweden, it consistently ranks among the top peated single malts. Launched in 1997 by Brian Crook through Highlands & Islands Whisky Co., a subsidiary of The Vintage Malt Whisky Co., the cask strength edition followed three years later, with a brand redesign in 2013.
