Town Branch is a Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey brand produced by Lexington Brewing & Distilling Company in Lexington, Kentucky. Owned by Alltech, the Irish-founded agribusiness corporation, Town Branch Distillery represents the first distillery built in Lexington in over a century. Established in 2008 and opened to the public in 2012, the distillery operates as a true grain-to-glass facility alongside an on-site brewery. Town Branch Bourbon is crafted from a mash bill of 72% corn, 15% rye, and 13% malted barley, aged in new, charred American oak barrels. The brand takes its name from the historic Town Branch waterway that flows beneath Lexington. The bourbon delivers a smooth, mellow character with notes of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, embodying the classic Kentucky bourbon profile while representing the revival of distilling in the heart of Bluegrass Country.
