Dayu Whisky Distillery enjoys a truly unique natural environment. Perched at 1,000 meters on the slopes of Dayu Mountain—the highest peak in southern Fujian at 1,544.8 meters—the region experiences dramatic diurnal temperature swings, persistent mist, and a humid climate. Thanks to its high altitude, the distillery is influenced by both Siberian cold winds and Pacific warm breezes, creating a dynamic interplay of fog and wind. This year-round alternation between dry and humid conditions allows oak barrels to breathe in harmony with nature, maturing Dayu Whisky into a spirit of distinctive character and flavor.
