Pilot Distilling Co. opened its hangar doors on November 28, 2008. We began distilling spirits in an airplane hangar at Triple W Airport in Fuquay-Varina, North Carolina—moving planes aside to make room for kettles and mash tuns. Since then, we've relocated to a larger 23,000-square-foot facility in Fuquay-Varina, complete with a hangar that's been converted into a bar!
