Finch Whisky was established in 1999, with distillation commencing in 2001 at the Nellingen distillery in Germany. Initially operating as a small-scale craft operation with an annual production capacity of approximately 300 litres of pure alcohol (LPA), the brand underwent significant expansion in 2012 with the installation of a state-of-the-art 3,000-litre pot still equipped with a rectification column. This upgrade marked Finch's transition from a micro-distillery to a more substantial whisky producer while maintaining its commitment to craftsmanship. The distillery's evolution reflects Germany's growing prominence in the global whisky scene. ©whiskybase.com
