Gold Cock

Est. 1969Czech Republic

Gold Cock is the oldest whiskey brand in the Czech Republic, pioneering the country's distilling heritage since 1969. The brand's journey began in Olomouc, where the first distillation took place using premium malted barley sourced from Bruntál. This new spirit was carefully laid down in oak casks for maturation, following traditional whiskey-making methods. The inaugural bottle of Gold Cock whiskey was released in 1973, marking a milestone as the Czech Republic's first commercially produced whiskey.
