Iwai is a Japanese whisky from Mars Shinshu Distillery, nestled in the Japanese Alps of Nagano Prefecture. Named after Kiichiro Iwai, a key figure in Japanese whisky history who mentored Masataka Taketsuru, this expression features a blend of malt and grain whiskies. It presents a light, approachable style with delicate floral aromas, honeyed sweetness, and a clean, crisp finish—reflecting the pristine mountain water and unique climate of Shinshu.
