Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, had a nip of this earlier. 🥃 Nose is proper nice, hint of peat and apple. 🍎 Goes down smooth, warms the chest straight away. 🔥 Taste is rich, bit spicy on the tongue. Finish lasts quite a while, leaves ya wantin more. Defo a good one for relaxin. 🛋️ Might pour anothr glass tbh. Proper lovely stuff. 👍
Right, so this dram’s got a proper lush nose, innit 🍏💐 You’re greeted wiv sweet orchard apples, a wee flutter of rose, and a cheeky gingersnap vibe. Nuttin’ too heavy, just bright and invitin’. On the palate, it turns malty and nutty—think almond scones drippin’ wiv honey butter 🍯🍪. Then comes this odd but lovely coolness, like a snow-dusted pear or frost on a window ❄️. Finish is clean, wi’ a gentle pepper warmth that hangs about. Really moreish, that 🥃✨ Wonna sit wi’ it all evenin’.
Looks a proper golden colour, doesn’t it? 🥃 First sniff’s got a bit of honey and maybe some dried fruit. There’s a touch of oak there too, kinda woody-like. Going down... quite smooth, really. Get some sweetness at the start, then a little warmth, maybe a hint of vanilla or toffee? Leaves a nice, gentle aftertaste. Yeah, not bad at all, that.
