Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right, poured myself a glass after work. 🥃 Smells like dried fruit and abit of wood smoke. Proper nice aroma. First taste is smooth, no burn at all. Feels warm going down. 🔥 Got a hint of spice, maybe cinnamon? Finish lasts quite awhile. Makes me wanna just sit and relax. Definatly a good one for cold nights. 🍂 Cheers mate. 🍻

Ooh this one's quite lovely! 🥃 Get a real nice toffee vibe at first, then some gentle spice kicks in. Bit of vanilla there too, smooth as anything... rly warms the throat nicely. Hints of orange peel maybe? A proper winter warmer, this! Yeh, just an all-round proper dram. Has that classic "moreish" quality, y'know? 👌

Ooh, this whisky’s got a real kick! 🥃 Smoky notes hit first, kinda like a bonfire on a chilly night. Then there’s this smooth honey sweetness – makes me feel all cozy inside. 👍 Heck, even a bit of vanilla and oak, maybe? Reminds me of autumn walks. Could be better with a drop of water, but I reckon it’s spot on for sippin’. 😋

Tried this one last weekend – not too shabby! Got a real honeyed thing going on, maybe some vanilla or toffee? Quite smooth actually. A bit of spice at the back of the throat, like cinnamon or nutmeg? Nice warmth without being harsh. Oh and there’s this subtle smoky note – not like a bonfire, more like… toasted oak? 🤷‍♂️ Finished it off neat, was lovely. Would definitely have again. 🥃

*sips* Oooh, that's got a proper autumnal warmth, innit? Like walking through crunchy leaves with a cuppa. 🍂 Bit of baked apple and some cinnamon spice comin' through, nice an' gentle. 🍎 Wait, get a touch of somethin' nutty too? Like toasted almonds or summat. Mmm. Finish is lovely and long, leaves ye feelin' all cozy. 👍 Quite pleased with this one!

Well, I'd say it's got a lovely smokey aroma, with hints of huney and a bit of vanila. On the palate, there's some fruity notes—maybe apples or pears—and a spicy kick that lingres. Quite enjoyabel for a wee dram! 🥃😊 Sometimes a touch of sherry or wood, but overall, very moreish.
