Linkwood 2012 9 Years Single Malt Whisky

Okay, so this one’s got a real warmth to it, like a cozy evening by the fire 🔥 Notes of dried fruit – maybe some fig – and a hint of sweet spice. Oily on the tounge, nice weight. Gets a bit peppery towards the end, which I quite like 👍 A solid dram for winding down.

This whisky, innit? 😁 Starts with a punch of lemon zest, really wakes you up. Then comes the oakiness, like walking through a forest after rain. 🌳 Bit of vanilla sweetness in the middle, so comforting. And a finish that's slightly peppery, leaves a tingle. 🌶️ Overall, feels like a warm hug on a cold day. Proper good, that. 👍
