Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Just had a wee dram... rich and kinda nutty at first? 🥃 Like toasted oak maybe. Then a bit of sweet honey, ooh and some dried fruit 👌. Finish is long, a nice warmth. Deffo stings the nostrils a bit too much 🤧. Overall... pretty good stuff. Would have another. ✨
Ah, this whisky's proper lovely, init? 😊 Warm notes of honey and vanilla, with a hint of smoke. Really coats the tongue nicely. Cheers! 🥃
Right so had a dram last nite and honestly it was proper lush 🥃✨ First thing - loads of honey and vanilla on the nose, like walking into a bakery init 🍯 Then theres this subtle smokiness, not too heavy like, just a gentle hint of peat in the background On the palate its got this lovely caramel sweetness, bit of dried fruit and a touch of spice that lingers nicely. Could defo taste some oak and maybe a whisper of leather? Quite complex tbh 🤔 The finish is warm and long, leaves you with this malty sweetness and a tiny bit of citrus zing. Maybe somethin floral in there too, hard to pin down Overall? Really satisfying drop. Perfect for a cold evening by the fire 🔥 Would deffo have another glass if I wasn't already feelin a bit merry lol 😅 Rate it highly would recommend to any fellow whisky lover 🏴
