High Coast 2011 10 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, so this one's got a lovely warmth to it init 🥃 First thing you get is this nice sweetnes, bit of honey and vanilla - very smooth on the tounge. Then there's a gentle smokiness coming through, nothing too heavy like. Hints of dried fruit and a touch of citrus maybe? Really nice balance goin on there 👌 The finish is quite long, get some spicyness and a bit of oakiness. Deffo has that peaty character but it's not overwhelmin at all. Honestly just proper lovely for a quiet evening innit. Would have this with a square of dark chocolate easy 🍫 Really well rounded dram this one. Gets better the longer you sit with it y'know?
