Caol Ila 1969 35 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram last night 🥃. Nose was proper nice, hint of honey and maybe some citrus🍋. Taste? Warmth hits you straight away. Defintely some oak and smoke, but not overpowering. Finish lingers quite awhile, makes you wanna sit by the fire. Proper comforting stuff on a rainy day 🌧️. Could drink this all evening tbh. Alrite quality.

First sip, oh crikey, this is smoky as anything! 😤 Got that rich, malty sweetness coming through, like a good old fruit cake. 🍰 Then a bit of vanilla and caramel, innit? Smooth and warm.
