Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right, had a nip of this earlier. 🥃 Proper lovely stuff. Goes down smoth, like velvet almost. You get that warmth in the chest straight away 🔥. Taste is a bit fruity, maybe some oak? Bit of smoke too, like a cold fire. 🌫️ Finish lingers nicely. Makes you wanna sit by the fire. 🍂 Definatly worth a try if you like something not too harsh. Cheers mates. 🍻

Blimey, this whisky's got a cracking nose! 🥃 I'm pickin' up honey and vanilla right off, with a bit of smokiness lurkin' in. 👃 On the tongue, it's smooth as silk—caramel, maybe some dried fruit, and a hint of oak. 👅 The finish is long and warmin', like a hug in a glass. 🔥 Proper lovely, that! 😊 A touch of spice creeps in too, but it's all balance, innit? 🌶️ Makes me wanna savour every drop. 👍

Right then, just had a wee dram and here's what I'm getting... Nose: proper lovely vanilla and honey sweetness 🍯 bit of dried fruit too, like Christmas cake sort of thing. Touch of oak and maybe some sherry influence there Palate: Oh that's nice - caramel and toffee up front, then comes this gentle cinnamon spice 🤌 creamy mouthfeel, getting some dark chocolate notes as well. Malty sweetness underneath it all Finish: medium length, the smoky bits come through at the end. Slight nuttiness lingering about Quite a well-rounded drop actually, the sweetness and spice play off each other nicely 👍 Wouldn't say no to another glass tbh
