Kilchoman 2010 9 Years Single Malt Whisky

Oh blimey, this whisky's a bit of a mind-bender, innit? First off, there's this eee... sort of vibe that hits ya – hard to put into words. Then you get s... and e a s o i s v o h i e s m e B, which mashes up all sorts of flavours in your gob. It's l w e e k i t c e e r l c e l t a o f r [u - , r , r e e A c n l w s n e a e r b... complex, but bloody lovely on a rainy day. Really makes ya feel all warm and fuzzy inside. 🥃😊 Just remember, it's all about the feel, not the brand, yeah?

Right, this one's proper interesting... First sip hits with a bit of a 🌶️ kick, almost like cracked black pepper. Then you get this lovely warm vanilla, a bit like custard creams. But underneath it all there's this faint smokiness, like a distant bonfire on a chilly night. 🥃 The finish is surprisingly long and dry, with a touch of dried fruit coming through at the end. Definately a winter warmer. Not sure about the notes of 'old books' the label mentions, but hey, each to their own!

Just had a wee dram of this one. Nose is quite peaty with a hint of smoke 🌫️ and maybe some apple in there. Palate's got honey and oak 🥃, feels smooth. Finish lingers with a bit of spice. Quite nice, really. Sometimes I get a whiff of vanilla too. Ace for a rainy day.

Loads of toffee n honey upfront 🍯, then get this proper smoky kick 🔥. Tastes like autumn leaves n a bit of choclatey depth. Really grows on ya. Proper lush, this. 😋

Ooh… that’s nice. First thing I get is vanilla and a bit of toffee, like proper sweet. Then it sort of warms up – 🔥 Hint of apple peel, maybe? Swally it, and there’s a kind of oakiness, a bit dry. Not bad though. The finish is a bit… smokey? Yeah, lingering. A proper chilly evening dram, that. 🟠 Easy drinking. Wouldn’t say no to another. Cheer! 🤠
