Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Aye, this one’s a proper comfort pour. 🥃 Nose hits like a campfire on a damp heath—soft peat, smouldering embers, a whisp of seasalt. Then it opens up… stewed orchard fruits, golden honey, and a wee curl of baking spice. Palate’s rich, almost caramel-toffee nuttiness. The finish just hangs there, warm and gently smoky. Like a wool blanket for yer chest. No rush. 🏕️🍯✨

First sip? Oh, that's apples 🍎 straight away. Not fresh ones, mind, like baked in a cake with a bit of cinnamon. Then you get the warmth. Like a proper fire 🔥 on a damp day. Peppery, aye, but a good sort. Lingers, that does. And there's honey 🍯 in there, runny stuff, not the set kind. Tied all together with a bit of... vanilla? Creamy like. Finishes with a bit of smoke and some dried fruit. 🍇 Nice length, that. Could sit with this for a while, y'know. 👍

Blimey, this whisky's got some proper depth! 😋 On the nose, there's a bit of fruitiness - maybe apples or pears - mixed with a touch of vanilla. Taste-wise, it's smooth with a hint of smokiness, innit? And that finish is lovely and long. Cheers! 🥃 A real treat for a rainy afternoon, like. 🌧️

# 🥃 Whisky Tasting Notes Ooooh right so first sip and im getting proper honey and vanilla vibes y'know? 🍯 Then theres this lovely marmalade and apple thing going on in the middle, bit of butterscotch too which is class 👌 Deeper in its all dark chocolate and leather, slight smokiness at the back, reminds me of sitting by a fire innit 🔥 Finish is long with some dried fruit and spice, maybe a touch of oak and peat... dead nice honestly Texture is quite creamy, coats the mouth proper well Overall? Gives me them cozy autumn evening feels 🍂 defs one to savour slowly like Wouldnt say no to another dram thats for sure 😊

Right then, this one's got a proper nose on it 🥃 Get a bit of peat smoke first off, like a bonfire on the beach. Then some sweeter things come through - maybe a bit of honey? And a bit of that vanilla oakiness. Tastes warming. A bit spicy, like cinnamon, then gets all smooth and fruity at the end. Quite enjoyble, that 👍 Smokey finish sticks around for a while. Really nice for a chilly evenng.

Tried this whisky last night. First thing I notised was the aroma – like ripe apples and a bit of cinemon. 🍎 Taste is smooth, got vanilla and a smoky hint. 🔥 Really enjoy the warmth. 😊

Wow this dram’s proper smoky innit 😤 Like a bonfire night gone posh. Hints of honeycomb an’ dried fruit 🍯🍎 lingerin’ after. Warmth right through me chest, init?
