Ardbeg Authentic Collection 1993 23 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, this one's a proper treat! 🥃 First sip and you get this lovely warm honey sweetness, almost like toffee melting on your tongue. Then the smokiness creeps in - not too harsh mind, just enough to remind you it's there 👌 Loads of dried fruit coming through, raisins and that sort of thing. Got a bit of vanilla and some nice oaky notes in the background. Quite complex init? Finish is long and warming, with a bit of spice and something remindin me of dark chocolate. Really pleasant aftertaste that lingers 😊 Overall just a really well balanced dram. Could happily sit with this one on a cold evening, maybe with a splash of water to open it up a bit more. Definately one for the collection!
