Glen Elgin Old Malt Cask 1972 30 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, poured myself a dram this evenin 🥃. Smells amazing, loads of honey and dried fruits 🍯. Nose isn't too sharp which is a bonus. Gentle on the tongue 👅. A touch of smoke comes through towards the end but not overwhelm ing. Dry finish, stays clean. Definately gonna order more bottles. Perfect for watchin TV 📺. Cheers mate! 🍻

Right, so I've had a sip of this whisky, and blimey, it's got a proper smoky kick, like a bonfire on a chilly night. The nose is all peaty with a hint of honey sweetness, and on the palate, there's this lush vanilla and dried fruit, almost like a Christmas pudding. It's smooth as anything, with a long, warming finish that just lingers. 🥃🔥 A bit of a spicy note too, mind you, but altogether, it's a loovly drop. 👍

Tried this one last night – right, it's got a lovely whiff of 🍯 honey and a bit of 🔥 smokiness. On the tongue, it's all smooth and malty, with some fruity bits like 🍐 pear. Finish is long and warming, maybe a touch of spice. Quite nice, really! 😊 Sometimes a bit of oakiness comes through too. Easy to sip, that.
