Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

Right then, grabbed a dram after shift. Nose had this nice nutty vibe mixed w/ smoked apple 🍏. Sipped it slow, felt quite rich. Tasted oaky an slightly bitter at the end, but balanced well. Proper decent whisky for the price point. Definately think I’ll get another bottle if it’s available 😉🥃.

Right, poured a wee dram after work. 🥃 Nose is proper peaty, like walking on the moors. 🌫️ Taste? Sweet honey first, then that smoky kick. Warms you right up, you know? Finish lingers nicely. No harshness at all. Perfect for a rainy Tueday. ☔️ Reckon I'll have another... 🤷‍♂️ Definitly saves the evening. 🍻

Right, had a wee dram of this tonight. 🥃 Nose is quite lovely, hint of vanilla and smoke. Taste warms you up straight away, proper comforting. 🔥 Gets a bit spicy at the end though. Finish lingers on the tongue, makes you wanna relax. Its a good one for a quiet night in. 🛋️ Definetly worth the pour. Cheers mate. 🍻

Right then, just pourin' a wee dram tonight 🥃. Nose is lovley, hints of honey and maybe some dried pear? 🍯 Takes you back somehow, proper cozy. On the palate, it's warm... warms the chest nicely. Bit of oak spice tingles a bit, but smooth. Finish lingers, dont want it to end too soon. Definately one for a quiet night in front of the fire 🔥. Cheers mates 🍻.

This whisky's got a real smooth feel to it, like velvet on the tongue. There's a bit of a spicy kick, maybe cinnamon or pepper, that warms you up nicely. I'm picking up sweet notes too – think vanila and honey, with a touch of caramel. Fruity hints as well, perhaps apple or pear. Overall, a proper lovely dram. 😊 Smooth and gentle, with that spice weaving through. The sweetness comes on strong but not too much, like a cozy hug in a glass. Cheers to that! 🥃

Hmm, this one's got real depth init 👌 Getting loads of vanilla and honey on the nose, maybe a bit of butterscotch too. Super smooth going down, proper silky mouthfeel like Taste wise — caramel, dark chocolate, some dried fruit comin thru. Maybe a hint of cinnamon? Defo gettin that oak and slight smokiness in the background, not overpowering tho Nice warm finish, lingers for a bit. Really enjoyin the creamy, almost buttery texture ngl 🥃 Perfect for a Friday evening sesh rly. Would have again fs

First sip... oh, that's nice. A bit of smoke, maybe? 🥃 Like a cozy fireplace, but not too strong. Then... honey! Sweet, but not sickly. And something else... is that vanilla? Aye, like a crème brûlée topping. Finish is warm, lingers a bit. Leaves a gentle spice, like cinnamon. Lovely. Cheers! 🍂

Ooh that's a proper nice one 👌 Starts with a lovely smoky kick, like a bonfire on a cold night. Then you get this sweet, honeyed thing... maybe vanilla? And there's a bit of spice at the end, like cinnamon or nutmeg. Really warms ye up. Sometimes I get a hint of green apple or pear too. Right fruity in the middle. A solid dram for a cozy evening. My favurite kind of sipper, honestly. 👍 Just nice, smooth, and makes you feel all warm inside.

Right, so this wisky's got a real smoky kick with some vanilla undertones. 🥃 On the nose, I'm gettin' honey and a bit of apple, maybe a hint of spice. The palate's smooth, almost creamy, with a touch of woody finish. Proper lovely drop, that! 👍 (Oh, and a few typos for good measure – "wisky" instead of "whiskey", typical innit?)

🥃 Oi, this one's a proper journey init? First hit's all vanilla & toffee, right smooth like. Then gets a bit spicy - think cinnamon sticks, maybe ginger. 🍯 Wait for it... second sip brings out the oak, kinda woody an' dry, but not in a bad way. A faint whiff of peat smoke lingers, not too heavy though. finish is long, warming ya throat nicely. Could swear there's a hint of dried fruit - raisins or summat? Brilliant stuff, would definately have another. 🔥
