Brora 1978 40 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, grabbed a dram after shift. Nose had this nice nutty vibe mixed w/ smoked apple 🍏. Sipped it slow, felt quite rich. Tasted oaky an slightly bitter at the end, but balanced well. Proper decent whisky for the price point. Definately think I’ll get another bottle if it’s available 😉🥃.

Super smooth going down, proper silky mouthfeel like Taste wise — caramel, dark chocolate, some dried fruit comin thru. Maybe a hint of cinnamon? Defo gettin that oak and slight smokiness in the background, not overpowering tho Nice warm finish, lingers for a bit.
