Cardhu 1984 27 Years Single Malt Whisky

Blimey, this one's got a right smoky start, like a cosy fireplace 🔥. Then it mellows into some fruity notes, maybe a bit of apple 🍎. There's a touch of sweetness, reminds me of honey or caramel 🍯. Goes down smooth, no harshness at all. Really loovly, that!

Gotta say, that first nosing is just... proper lovely 🥃 Sweeet vanilla and some toffee, with a bit of spice kickin' in later. The palate’s all creamy caramel, right? But then there’s this smoky, oaky depth that creeps up. Finish is long and warm, with a kinda dry, nutty vibe. Smells like a cozy evening by the fire, innit. 😌 A bit of fruitcake too, maybe? Hard to pin down but oh-so-moreish.
