Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Just poured a dram of this this evening. 🥃 Smells proper fruity like honeycomb. First taste gives a nice warm glow, no sting whatsoever. Goes down quite easy. Lingering aftertaste is kinda peppery, interesting stuff. A bit strong for beginners but I liked it heaps. Realy thinking bout getting another bottle next week. Cheers! 😋👌

Right, poured myself a glass. 🥃 Nose is lovley, got that sea breeze feelin 🌊. Maybe some citrus too? Taste is warm, smooth tho. Sweet like honey 🍯 but with a bit of spice. Finish lingers on. Makes you feel cosy 🔥. Proper nice dram. Cheers! 🍻

Ooh, just had a dram – lovely fruity notes, like apple and pear 🍎🍐. Got a bit of smokiness, not too much, and some honey sweetness 🍯. Vanilla too, with a smooth finish and a touch of spice. Really nice! 🥃 Hmm, the texture’s creamy, and there’s a hint of floral in there. Slight oaky vibe, but well-balanced. Goes down easy, innit? 😊 Wait, is that a bit of chocolatey depth? Yeah, maybe. Quite moorish!

4#4

Aye, this whisky’s got a proper nice nose – smells of fruitcake and a bit of honey, maybe some dark chocolate too? 🥃 On the pallet, it’s smooth with a gentle spice, like cinnamon. The finish is warm with oak and a touch of vanilla. Really enjoyble, espeically on a chilly eve. 👍 Sometimes a drop o’ water brings out more sweetness. Quite good, innit? 😊

5#5

This whisky's got a right proper smokey kick, like a bonfire on the moors. 🔥 Tastes of peat and a bit of honey, very smooth goin' down. 🥃😊 Could do with more vanila notes, but it's a belter of a dram!

Alright, mate, this whisky's got a proper depth to it. First sip, I get hints of smoky leather and a bit of citrus zest. Quite warming, like a cozy night by the fire. 🥃 The finish is smooth with a touch of oak and maybe some vanilla notes. A little fruity undertone too, sort of like dried fruits. Not too harsh, just right for a relaxing evening. 😊 Oh, and there's a subtle earthiness to it, reminds me of walking in the countryside after a rain. Lovely stuff.
