Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, just had a nip of this earlier. 🥃 Nose is lovely... smoky peat 🔥 but soft, like vanilla pods 🍦. Taste? Warm oak 🪵, bit of spice 🌶️ and honey 🍯. Smooth as silk really. Finish lingered abit. Proper comforting on a rainy night. 🌧️ Definatly makes you feel cozy. Feel like sitting by the fire. 🔥 Cheers mates! 🍻
Right, had a wee dram last nite. 🥃 Proper smokey flavour, hits ye hard. 🔥 Sweet bit after wards, like honey. 🍯 Warms the belly nicely. Bit rough on the throat tho. Definately good for a cold evening. ❄️ Cheers mate. 🍻
First off, the noze is kinda fruity with a bit of peat smoke – like apples and a bonfire. 🍎🔥 On the palate, it’s smooth as silk, with a spicy kick that’s not too strong. 😋 The finish lingers warm and toasty, perfect for a cozy night in. 🍂 Sometimes I get a hint of vanilla too, makes it lovely. 😊
Just had a lovely dram 🥃 First sniff: big peat smoke, a bit like a campfire. Then underneath, some sweeter notes come through - vanilla, a touch of honey. Quite spicy too, maybe cinnamon or something like that. The oak is definitely there, gives it a solid backbone. On the tongue, it's full and chewy. The smoke is upfront but doesn't overwhelm. Get that classic "burnt toast" thing some have, and a bit of fruit - dried apple maybe? Long finish, warming, with the smoke and spice lingering. Really enjoyable. Well balanced in my view. Would happily have another glass 🎉
Bloody hell, this one’s got a proper kick. 🥃 First sniff is like a bonfire on a damp moor – smoky, peaty, right in your face. Then it mellows into somethin’ sweet, like honey drizzled over warm toast. 🍯 Tastes a bit like chewin’ on oak wood, but in a good way. There’s vanilla and maybe a touch of apple peelin’ in there too. 🍎 The finish is long, warm, and a tad spicy, like cinnamon dust. It’s the sort of dram you sip slowly by the fire. Proper comfortin’ stuff. 👍
