Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Ooh, that’s a real nice one. 🥃 First sniff: it’s kinda sweet and creamy, like… malty honey? Then you take a sip, and it’s proper chewy. Spicy and rich, but not too much. It’s deep and warm, like sitting by a fire. Fruity notes come through – think stewed apples or something. It’s smooth, not harsh at all. Really subtle vanilla and oak in the background. And the finish! Long, with a hint of smoke. Not like a bonfire, more like gentle peat. Reminds me of a good Christmas pudding, tbh. 👍 Just a lovely, well-rounded dram. Would deffo have another.
Aye, this whisky's got a proper smoky start, like a bonfier on the highlands. Then it mellows into some fruitty bits, maybe hints of apple and a bit of spice. Finish is warm and lovelly. Really enjoied it! 😋 Goes down smooth with a touch of vanilla, keeps you coming back for more. Top dram, that.
