Ardbeg 1965 24 Years Single Malt Whisky

Blimey, this one’s got a real kick! 🔥 First sip and it’s like a warm hug with a spicy, peppery kick right at the back of the throat. So much going on. Really can taste the honey 🍯 and a bit of that sweet creaminess. It’s like, smooth at first, then all these spices come through – nutmeg maybe? And a deep, woody kinda taste that lingers. The finish is long and warming, nice oaky vibe. Quite a full-on dram, this. Could happily sip this one all night. 😌 Oh, and there's a little smokiness in there too, I reckon. Proper lovely.

Ooh that first sip? 🤯 Wowzers. Got this big smoky hit, like a bonfire in a forest, mind you. Then it just mellows right out... sorta honeyed, kinda like me gran's baked apples wif cinnamon 🍎. Bit of a kick at the back o' the throat, aye, but not harsh. More like a warm hug that just sits there. Feelin' a bit of dark chocolate too, maybe? Deep and rich. The finish is long, see. Keeps you company. 🥃 Cracking, this one is.

Just had a sip of this one. 👃 Nose is sweet, like honey and some fruit, maybe apples. Taste-wise, got a bit of spice and a smooth, creamy feel. 😋 Finish warms the chest up nicely, with a lingering smokiness. Really enjoyable on a cold evening! 🥃
