Mortlach Authentic Collection 1992 16 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram earlier 🥃. Nose is sweet, like caramel and dried fruit. Palate? Smooth as silk, bit of oak spice 🔥. Finish lingers nicely, warms the chest. Definitly a cozy one for winter nights 🌧️. Proper lovely stuff. Cheers! 🥂

Yeah, this one's quite intriguing. 🤔 Getting a lot of warm, honeyed notes first off – like caramelised nuts and a bit of dried fruit. It’s proper smooth, not harsh at all. Then there’s this lovely, subtle smokiness that creeps in. Not a bonfire, more like a distant campfire or toasted oak. Really nicely balanced. The finish is long and spiced, maybe a touch of cinnamon or nutmeg? Really lingers. 👍 A fantastc dram for a chilly evening. Would definitley have another. Slàinte! 🥃
