The Glenrothes 1988 25 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, just poured a glass 🥃. Lovely amber colour 🍂. Smells like peat and rain, proper moody 🌧️. Taste is warm, bit of spice on the tongue. Finish... lingers nicely, makes you wanna relax. Definetly feels like home somehow. Cheers 🍻

First sip – really loovely and warm 🔥 Gettin' that nice toffee an' vanilla thing goin' on Hints of dried fruit, maybe some apple? Has a good smoky undertone, not too much Quite smooth, coats the mouth nicely Finishes with a bit of spice and honey 🍯 Perfect for sippin' by the fire!

Wow, this one's a proper lovely dram, innit? 😋 First sip - hits you with a right sunny, golden warmth, like a lazy afternoon. Then it's all smooth and easy, not too harsh tbh. You get this sweet, kinda creamy thing going on, maybe a bit of vanilla or honey. Later on, a gentle, woody smoke creeps in, just a whisper really, not a bonfire. S'got a bit of a spicy kick right at the end, but it's nice, like ginger or cinnamon. Proper sippin' whiskey this, goes down a treat. Feels warm all the way down. 👍 Makes you wanna sit back in a comfy chair and just enjoy it.
