Tasting Notes & Reviews

Right, had a wee dram tonight 🥃. Nose is proper smoky, like a open fire 🔥. Got some sweet fruit underneath though, maybe apple or pear 🍐. Taste is warm, goes down smoth but with a bit of spice kick. Finish lingers alot, nice woody vibe 🪵. Definately one to savour on a cold evenin. Cheers! 🍻

Right, so this one's got quite the nose on it init 🍯 First thing I get is honey and vanilla, like proper creamy stuff. Then there's a bit of apple and pear coming through, fruity innit. A touch of spice too, cinnamon maybe? 🍎 On the palate it's quite smooth, bit oily which I love. Getting some toffee and caramel sweetness, maybe a hint of chocolate 🍫 There's smoke there but not too heavy, more like a gentle campfire vibe. Finish is medium-long I'd say, warming. Some oak comes thru at the end, maybe a bit of leather. Overall quite balanced, not too complex but defo enjoyable for a casual dram in the evning 👍 Would reccomend if ya like sweeter whiskys with just a wee bit of smoke like

Ooh this one's got some proper depth! 🥃 First whiff - kinda like walking into a cozy pub with a fireplace going 🔥. There's this rich, malty sweetness... reminds me a bit of honey on toast but with some darker, almost treacle-like notes underneath. Taking a sip... wow, it's got this lovely warming feeling. I'm getting some dried fruit - maybe figs or dates? And there's definitely some vanilla and cinnamon spice in there. The mouthfeel's quite creamy too. Finish is long and smooth, leaves you with this pleasant warmth. There's a slight smokiness that comes through right at the end, like embers dying down. Not overwhelming at all, just nicely balanced. Proper autumn-evening dram this one. Makes you wanna sit in a big armchair with a good book 📖. Really sippable stuff. definetly has some chocolatey notes too I reckon. Maybe a bit of orange peel? Complex but not confusing if that makes sense. Really enjoyable!
