It's got a honeyed sweetness, too 🍯, with some dried fruits mixed in. The oak's there, mind you, giving it a bit of a spicy kick - cinnamon, maybe some nutmeg and ginger. A touch of black pepper at the back. Then it shifts... darker fruits come through, like plum or fig. Can't miss the leather and a hint of tobacco. There's a faint smoke, but not heavy - more like a distant bonfire. Ah, and here's the coastal bit. A bit of sea salt and iodine, a medicinal edge. Almost briny, like seaweed on the shore. Proper complex, this one.
