Tomatin 1976 34 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, just had a wee dram of this. 🥃 Nose is quite sweet, like honey and dried fruits 🍯. Palate hits warm, abit of oak spice tingling down. Not too smoky which I prefer. Finish lingers nicely, makes you feel cosy inside. 🌧️ Proper decent dram for a quiet evening. Might be alot rough round the edges but thats part of the charm innit? 🤷‍♂️ Cheers mates! 🍻

Oaky nose w/ a bit of smoke n’ honey 👃🔥 Taste like vanilla caramel... smooth, not too hot 👅 Hints of dried fruit and that classic grassy note 🌾 Finishes long, kinda peppery, leaves u warm inside 😌 A proper sipper for a rainy evenin’ 🌧️😌

Right, so I just tried this one... First off, get a real hit of smoky peat on the nose. 🔥 A bit like a bonfire. Then there's a sweeter thing underneath... toffee and a bit of vanilla. Quite nice. Taste is quite full, actually. More of that smoke, then some spice kicks in - cinnamon maybe? And a sort of dried fruit note. Apples? 🍏 Finish is long and warming. Leaves a pleasant, slightly woody taste in the mouth. Not bad at all. A proper winter dram, that. 😊

The aroma? Proper strange mix, like... damp fruit cellar maybe? 🥃 Initial sip gives that sweet, kinda sticky fruit note - think overripe plums or figs. Then smoke sneaks in, not like a bonfire, more like... a distant woodstove on a chilly evening? 🔥 Finish is long, warmin' down the throat. Catches you by suprise with a little peppery kick at the end. Leaves a taste of dark choclolate and earth. Really somethin' else, innit?
