Deanston 2008 12 Years Single Malt Whisky

Proper nice dram this one. 🥃 Got that sweet smell on the nose, like honey and oak 👃. Hits the palate warm... bit of spice but not too much. Finish is smooth, lingers abit. Dont need water really. Perfect for chillin after work innit. 🌧️ Cheers! 🍻

Tried this one neat last night and honestly... proper lovely stuff 👌 First sip - big hit of smoke, like a bonfire on a crisp autumn evening. Then this gorgeous caramel sweetness kicks in, almost like butterscotch. Really warming on the chest 🔥 Fruity notes come through after a wee while - apples maybe? And definitley some vanilla in there. Got that classic oak barrel thing going on too. The finish is quite long, bit of spice and something earthy. Maybe a touch of honey? Mrs said the kitchen smelled like it for hours after I poured a dram 😂 Would pair beautifuly with a square of dark chocolate imo. Perfect for a rainy night in with the telly on. Not too harsh either, quite smoothe for what it is. 7.5/10 would buy again 🥃

Oh mate, this whisky's got a right proper taste! It's like smoky oke with a touch of hunny. 😊 Really warms you up on a cold night. Could sip it all day long! Maybe a bit of spiciness too – lovely stuff. 🥃

A bit of orange peel zest cuts through it. In the mouth... wow, it's chewy. Like a rich fruit cake soaked in sherry. Dark chocolate bitterness comes through at the end, with a lingering warmth that just sits there, lovely. 😌 Just feels like a hug from the inside. Cheers!
