Macduff 2002 11 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, this dram’s got a proper lovely nose—honeyed orchard fruit 🍎 wi’ a whiff of bonfire smoke. Palate’s rich, like treacle tart an’ a bit of dark choccy 🍫, then a earthy peat smack that lingers. Finish is long, warm spice an’ a whisper of leather. Cushty drop, that. 👍 Smooth, innit?

Tried this whisky last night. Nosse has a nice smokiness, with some fruit – think apples or pears. Palate is smooth, a bit spicy, and hints of vanilla. Finish is long and warming. Quite enjoyable! 😊 Sometimes a bit strong, but overall a good drink. 👍
