Macduff 2006 11 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right then, poured a wee dram 🥃. Smells sweet, like honey and dried fruit 🍯. Got a bit of smoke in the background too. Palate is rich, warms you up proper nice 🔥. Definitley worth the pour. Night cap sorted 😴. Cheers mates 🍻.

A bit of bonfire smokiness too, but not overpowerin’—more like a damp campfire the mornin’ after. 🔥 On the palate it’s surprisingly oily, coats the tongue proper. Honeyed at first, then comes a wave of cracked black pepper and a salty, almost seaweed tang? Oddly moreish. A touch of dark chocolate bitterness right at the back. Finish is warm and lingers, definately oak-led but with a whisper of dried apricots and maybe a smidge of ginger jam. Cracking dram, that. 😌
