Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, poured myself a wee dram 🥃. Nose is lovly, proper fruity like pear and apple. Hint of honey too 🍯. Taste is smooth, no burn whatsoever. Vanilla and caramel vibe, reminds me of Christmas pudding 🍮. Finish is warm, lingers nicely. Oak spice kicks in at the end. Proper good for a rainy evening. Would definetly have another 👍. Just sits right, you know?
Right then, just poured a glass of this 🥃. Smell is lovely, bit of smoke and vanila 🍦. Taste is rich, feels warm going down. Got a hint of fruit too, maybe apple 🍎. Finish lingers nicely, dont want it to end. Proper good for a rainy eveing 🌧️. Cheers 🍻.
Right then, just poured a glass. 🥃 Nose hits you with smoke and dried plum. 🍇 Palate is warm, oak vanilla mixt. Finish stay long... proper relaxing. Definitly worth the sip. Cheers mates. 🍻
Hmm, this one's got a proper smoky vibe, init? 🥃 Like, you get that peaty earthiness right off, then some sweet caramel notes creep in. A bit of fruitiness too – apples maybe? Super smooth finish, honestly. Goes down easy after a long day. 👍
Well, this whisky's got a real smoky vibe, like a proper campfire in the countryside. 🏕️ First taste, you get that peaty kick, then some sweet vanilla comes through – almost like toffee apples. Finish is long and warming, leaves you feeling all cozy inside. 😊 Sometimes, hints of citrus pop up, fresh and zesty. Cheers to that! 🥃 Oh, and a bit of oakiness, but it's lovely, not overpowering. Proper dram for a rainy day.
Cracking whisky that one! 🍎 Hit me right away with proper apple notes, like a fresh slice in me nan's kitchen. Vanilla cream underneath, soft and sweet like fudge from the seaside. 👌 Then comes a whisper of smoke, just a tickle mind, not like a bonfire. More like... distant campfire embers? 🔥 Finish has this lovely warmth, cinnamon and ginger doing a slow dance on the tongue. Lasts ages! Proper winter warmer, that. Would be loevly with a bit of dark chocolate after dinner. 🍫
Blimey, this whisky's got a right lovely kick of smoky peat upfront, kinda like a bonfire on the coast. 🥃 Then it mellows into some sweet caramel and a hint of dried fruit – proper warming on a cold night! 😊 Smooth finish, really enjoyale.
Right, so got this wee dram here, innit? 🥃 First off, there's this proper smoky vibe, kinda like a bonfire on a damp night. Sort of peaty, you know? Then you get this lovely hit of dark chocolate and some stewed apple, maybe a hint of cinnamon. Quite warming, goes down smooth. Finishes a bit dry with a whisper of dried fruit. Not too shabby at all! 👍 Sometimes the smokiness mingles with this... almost citrusy peel note? Kinda unusual but I don't mind it. Could be my taste buds playing tricks. Overall, a decent wee whisky for a quiet night. Cheers!
