Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

So here's my take. 🥃 This dram opens up with a hint of coastal fog and salt air 🌊. Goes down surprisingly smooth, though there's a slight pepper note on the back of the tongue. Definatly has that burnt sugar sweetness, reminds me of toffee apples 🍎. Finishes a wee bit tingly, like a sparkler. Not every glass is perfect, but for a casual evening? Absolutely spot on 👍. Worth the wait, I think. 😉

Right, just poured a wee dram of this. 🥃 Nose is warm, hint of honey and maybe some spce? 🍯 Taste is smooth, got that vanilla oak feelin. Finish lingers... bit of smoke perhaps? 🔥 Proper nice for a rainy evening. Definitly worth a try if you like it rich. Cheers! 🍻

Right then, poured myself a wee dram. 🥃 Nose is warm, hint of toffee and peat. Remindes me of home. Taste... smooth, bit of spice kicking in. Warmth goes all the way down. 🔥 Finish lingers soft. Makes you feel proper relaxed. Lovley stuff for a rainy night. 🌧️ Cheers.

Blimey, that first sip is like a walk through an autumn forest 🍂. Got this lovely peaty smoke, right, but not overwhelming—more like a distant bonfire. Then comes this warm, honey sweetness that just coats the tongue, all sticky toffee and a bit of orange peel. The finish is long, mate. Leaves this gentle, spicy warmth right at the back of your throat, like cinnamon and a hint of dark chocolate. Got a real proper kick to it, but smooth. Makes you want to sit by the fire with a good book. 💨🥃 Gotta say, it's got a certain rugged charachter, innit? Very moreish.

Ooh, this one's got a real smoky kick to it 🔥. A bit of woody, earthy goodness underneath. Then comes this sweet, kinda honey-like thing 🍯. Really balances it out. Aye, maybe some dried fruit? Really diggin' the smooth vanilla and a touch of spicy oak. It's proper complex, innit? My fav kinda dram for a chilly night. Just sippin' and noddin'. 👍

Blimey, this whisky's got a proper smoky peat start, innit? Like a cosy bonfire on a damp autumn day. 🍂 Then comes this sweet vanilla and almond notes, kinda like fresh-baked biscuits. There's a hint of dark choclate and ginger spice too – gives it a right kick! Finish is long with lemon zest and blackberry fruits. Really warming and moreish. 🥃 Perfect for a chilly evenin' with mates.
