Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right, had a wee dram of this tonight. 🥃 Proper lovely stuff. Nose is fruity, maybe pear or apple 🍎. Taste is smooth, hints of honey and spice 🍯. Warms you up straight away, feels cosy. Finish lingers nice and long. Alot going on here, keeps you guessing. Definitly one to keep handy for cold evenings. ❄️ Cheers mates! 🍻
Just a regular whiskey lover here – this one's got a real smokey vibe 🔥, like a campfire in a bottle. Sweet carmel and vanilla notes come through, making it feel smooth 'n easy on the throat. 🍯 Sometimes I get a hint of fruit, maybe apples or summat? Spicy kick at the end, but not too strong. Proper good for winding down after work. 😊 Oh, and there's a bit of nuttiness too – reminds me of roasted nuts on a winter day.
Just tried a whisky, notes of honey and vanilla, rather smooth. A hint of oak, maybe a bit of smoke? Quite pleasant, really. 😊 Not too strong, easy to sip.
Ah, this whisky’s got a reet smoky nose, kinda like a bonfire on a cool night. 👃🔥 Sweet hints of honey and caramel come thru, makes me feel all warm inside. On the palate, it’s peaty and slightly spicy wif some fruity notes – maybe apple or pear? 🍎 Finish is long and warmin’, leaves a smile on me face. Proper nice, that. 👍🥃 Sometimes the smokiness can be a bit much, but overall it’s a guid dram for relaxed evenings. 😌
Nose is sorta smoky wif vanilla undertones, quite inviting. 😊 Taste brings hunny and a bit of fruitiness, maybe some oak. Finish is long and warming, real nice overall. 👍
Oh mate, this whisky's got a proper nice nose, innit? 🥃 Like a mix of smokiness and some fruity bits, maybe a bit of apple or pear. Really smooth on the tounge, not too harsh at all. A touch of spice hits you after a sip, kind of warming like a good fire. 🔥 Some hints of vanilla and honey, but not too sweet, ya know? Perfect for a cozy night in, cheers! 🍂
Ooft, that's a proper winter warmer! 🥃 Get loads of smoke first off, kinda bonfire-ish, then... honey? Like proper thick honey. A bit of apple peel too, an' some toff... toffee. Oaky finish. Lovely dram wth some ginger ale. 😋🔥
Ngl this one's proper interesting 🥃 First sip — immediate smoke hit, like sitting next to a campfire tbh. Then that lovely vanilla sweetness creeps in, almost like creme brulee or summat. Gets abit malty in the middle, with some dark chocolate notes. Quite warming on the way down 🔥 Hints of honey and maybe dried fruit? Hard to tell sometimes but yeah, it's there if you pay attention. Leathery finish that lingers nicely. Oaky too, like proper aged stuff should be. Smooth as anything honestly. Could easily have a few of these on a cold evening 👌 Overall: smoky but balanced, sweet enough to not be harsh, and that peaty kick just *chefs kiss* 💯 Would defo reccomend if you're into the Islay-style dram but dont want something too agressive.
