Blair Athol 2010 11 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a wee dram of this last nite. 🥃 Nose is proper cozy, realy reminds me of home somehow. 🏠 Sweet like honeyed apples maybe? Taste... smoth at first then the oak kicks in. Bit of spice thru the palate. Cinnamon? Finish is warm, lingers nicely. Makes you wanna sit by the fire 🔥 Definately one for a cold evening. Colour is rich gold too. Proper nice stuff. 👌

Cheers mate, just tried this 🥃 Nose is proper lovely, hint of honey 🍯 Palate kicks in warm, spicy but not too much heat. Feels like autumn leaves 🍂 Finish lingers nicely, bit of oak and smoke. Proper comforting on a rainy eveing. Smooth stuff innit. Flavur is spot on 👌

Right, poured myself a dram. 🥃 Nose? Get a lovely waft of 🔥 smoke first, proper peaty. Then there’s that sweet malty backbone, bit of honey 🍯 and maybe vanilla? Mouthfeel is quite oily, coats the tongue. Taste comes in waves: first that smokiness again, then some 🍊 citrus peel zing, followed by a warming spice, like cinnamon. There’s a definite sherry sweetness in there too. Finish is long and warming, leaves a nice smoky aftertaste with a hint of dark chocolate. 🍫 A well-structured drop, innit.

Right then, smells like a proper autumn walk – hints of ripe pear 🍐 and a little bonfire smoke. 😮‍💨 Taste-wise, it's got a lovely warm hug of vanilla and a bit of that toffee apple sweetness. Quite smooth, not too rough. Finish is where it gets interesting, that spicy cinnamon note lingers a bit, nice and warming. 🔥 A favourite for a chilly evening, that's for sure. ✌️
