Right then, this dram is definately proper lovely 🥃. Nose brings a mix of dried apricots and a smidge of peat, nothin' overpowerin'. First sip feels velvety smooth, almost like liquid caramel. Bit of black pepper kickin' in after a min. Definately has that old-school richness, keeps goin' long after swallowin'. Alot of character in every drop. Perfect way to unwind with the lads. Poured a dram, quite punchy on the nose! 🍂 Got that earthy peat first off, with some smoky hints, and then a lovely malty sweetness came thru. On the palate, a burst of fruit notes – think ripe pear 🍐 – mixed with warm spice. Feels proper warming, like a hug for your insides. Finish is long, a bit nutty, maybe summat like leather and oak lingering. A touch of honey comes back later. Lovely stuff, innit? 👌
