Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Aye, this one's a proper cosy dram. Nose is all honey'd orchard fruits 🍎🍐, a wee brush of vanilla, then a gentle waft of heathery peat smoke that never shouts. On the palate it's silk smooth—stewed pears, a touch of barley sugar, maybe a whisper of cinnamon bun 🌧️. That smoke just lingers in the corners, like a dying bonfire on a wet autumn eve. Finish? Slow and warm, kinda nutty, with a tiny peppery kick at the very end. Uncomplicated but dead comfy. Cheers 🥃

2#2

Alright, first impression? 🥃 It's like a cozy night by the fire – smoky and warm, with a touch of sweet vanilla. Hints of apples and maybe a bit spicy, but so smooth! Really lovely stuff. 😊

3#3

Right, so this whisky's nose is smoky with a bit of peat. 🥃 On the palate, it's sweet and spicy, kinda fruity too. Finish is long, woody with honey notes. Smooth as, innit? 😊 Occasional typo like "smokey" for "smoky", but all good.

4#4

Gonna be honest, this dram's got proper character. First hit's all bonfire smoke, really lingers. Then comes this rich, dark choclate note... melts into sweet toffee. A bit of citrus peel zing cuts through, keeps it from bein' too heavy. Bit of old leather and tobacco leaf later on, like a comfy study. Finish is long, warming, with this honey'd vanilla fade. Really quite moorish, init? 🔥🥃
