Lagavulin 1994 13 Years Single Malt Whisky

Quite the dram, this one! 🔥 First thing - that big smoky hit, like sitting by a bonfire on a damp night. Then it gets all warm and woody in the mouth, a bit like chewing on an old oak barrel. Maybe a bit of spicy ginger? 🌾 Slight sweetness creeps in, honeyed or something, but it never gets too soft. That smokiness hangs about, like it’s reluctant to leave. Makes your chest glow nicely. Perfect for after a long walk. 👍
