Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Ooh, this whisky’s got a real smokey vibe 🔥, like a campfire in the glass. Sweet notes of vanilla and caramel come through, with a hint of fruitiness – maybe some apples? It’s smooth on the palate, no harsh burn, just a warm glow that lingers. Perfect for a rainy afternoon. 😊 The finish is long and spicy, with a touch of oak. Really quite lovely, innit?

2#2

Gotta say, this whisky's got a real nice vibe. 😊 It starts off kinda smoky, like a bonfire on a cool night 🔥, then you get these sweet notes – maybe honey and a bit of vanilla? 🍯 Smoother than you'd expect, with a little spice that lingers. Teh finish is warm and comfy, makes you wanna sit back with a book. 📖 Sometimes hints of fruit pop up, like apple or pear. 🍎 It's just lovely, innit?

3#3

Ooh this one’s got a lovely nose! 🍬 Getting some caramelised toffee apples an a bit of orange peel. Right in your face, that. Palate’s proper creamy, like vanilla custard left out in the sun. There’s a bit of smoke sneakin’ in, but not too much. 👌 Finish is all spicey cinnamon, lingers for a good while. Really warming, just what you need on a naff autumn evening.

4#4

This whisky's got a lovely honey sweetness with a bit of caramel and vanilla coming through. There's a subtle smokiness that adds depth, and hints of dried fruit on the finish. Really smooth and moreish, I'd say. 😋 Blimey, it's proper nice – sweet like honey with a touch of that vanilla, and a wee bit of smoke to round it off. Fruity notes too, making it quite enjoyable. 🥃

5#5

First off, that smoky hit right away – kinda like a bonfire in autumn. 🍂 Then there's this sweet undertone, maybe honey or caramel? Spicy kick follows, with a hint of dried fruit. Finish is long and warming, leaves a nice peaty linger. Really satisfying, innit? 😊🥃 Oh, and a bit of woodiness there too, makes it complex but easy to sip. Proper good stuff!
