Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

This whisky's got a real nice burn to it, y'know? Starts off with a bit of a kick, then smooths out into somethin' like leather and nuts. 🥃🔥 Tastes kinda sweet too, reminds me of caramel or vanilla. A little fruity note in there as well, like apples or pears. Makes you wanna sit back and relax by the fire. 😊 Sometimes I get a whiff of smoke, but it's not overpowerin'—just a gentle touch. Overall, it's a proper cozy drink for a cold evening.

Ooh, right, so first nees I get is this sweet honey vibe 🍯, then some citrus and buttery toffee. There's a lite smokiness in the back, you know? On the palate... quite smooth, innit? More of that fruitiness, maybe dark berry, with a bit of spice. The finish is warming, has some chocolate and a hint of herbal, maybe 🌿. Really nice sippin' dram, that one.

Ahh proper decent dram this, innit 🥃 First whiff - like walkin through an autumn orchard, bit of 🍎 n cinnamon. Then comes the deeper stuff, dark choc n a hint of 🌲 wood. On the tongue? Smooth as, bit of honey 🍯 then a cheeky wee kick of spice. Lovin the finish - lingers, like a warm 🔥 glow. Delish.

Right, this one's got a real autumn campfire vibe. 🔥 First sip, it's like a hug from the inside. Warming, a bit spicy, kinda makes you think of that first sweater weather day. There's a definite sweetness there, like toffee or caramel you'd get at the seaside. It's quite smooth, actually. Not a punch in the face. More like a slow burn. You get some nutty bits, maybe a hint of that Christmassy marzipan. And there's a little zestiness, like marmalade on toast. The finish lingers, a bit smoky but not in a bonfire way, more like a cozy pub with a log fire. Leaves you with a pleasant, slightly honeyed taste. Y'know, one of those you'd just sip slowly and appreciate. 👍

Ooh that's defo a smooth one! 🥃 Got a nice wee honey sweetness there, and a bit of smoke in the background. Light on the tongue, really easy drinking. Makes me think of a cozy fireplace chat. 👍

Just tried this whisky, innit. 😊 First sip: smoky, like a bonfire night. 🥃 Then some sweetness, maybe honey or vanilla. 💛 Finish is long, warm, feels lovelly. 👌 A bit of spice too, but smooth overall. Cheers!

Right so poured myself a dram here... 🥃 First thing on the nose - proper lovely stuff. Getting vanilla, bit of honey, maybe some dried fruit? Touch of smoke in the background but nothing mental. Palate is where it gets good init 👌 Creamy, like butterscotch and dark chocolate sort of thing. Little bit of spice - cinnamon maybe? Oak comes through nicely aswell. The finish lingers dont it 🍂 Warm, sweet, hints of that fruit coming back round. Honestly just sits there nice n easy. Moreish like. Could happily have another Proper winter warmer this one 🔥
