Right, here goes… nose has this weird hop whiff at first, almost funky 😅 then it softens into somethin buttery, like toasted nuts and a hint of guava the palate’s got a sour tang that catches ya off guard salty caramel vibes with a prickle of rye spice finish stays ages, savoury and warm, almost biscuity defo a lovable oddball, proper moreish 👌🥃
Oi mate, just had a proper good dram. 🥃 Fink of a autumn orchard, right? Stewed apples, pears, a bit of that sweet vanilla... like a toffy apple. 🍎 Then there's a wee bit of spice, maybe cinnamon or nutmeg, an' a lovely warm, oaky finish. Very moreish. Altogether, quite a cozy an' well-balanced sip. Proper good for a chilly evenin'. 👍
Ahhh... nose is like autumn leaves and honey 🍯 Toasted oak jumps out first Palate – bit of burnt sugar and that weird "wet stone" thing 😅 Love it Finish long, peppery. Getting apple peel?? 🍎 So random but works Smokey... but kinda like a campfire that died hours ago? Just a whisper Actually wait – is that cinnamon?? 🤔 sneaky lil note hiding in there Overall: chonky dram, proper cozy 👍 Textured, bit wild, keeps ya guessing 9/10 would drink again (and probably mispronounce the name lol)
Ooh this one's got a proper smoky kick init? Like bonfire embers on a damp autumn night 🍂 Tastes a bit of burnt toffee &... is that stewed apple? Yeah, with a sprinkle of cinnamon. Funny how it sits in the throat, warm but not harsh. The finish lingers like old leather & wet wood. Quite moody, innit? Maybe a touch of dark chocolate hiding in there too 🍫 Overall? A proper dram for when it's pouring outside & you're after summat with character. Just don't rush it.
Well, this whisky's got a proper peaty nose with smoky hints, kinda like a bonfire on a chilly evening. Tastes of dried fruits and a bit of honey, with a warm, spicy finish. Really goes down smooth after a long day! 😊🥃 Sometimes it reminds me of oak and vanilla, just lovely for sipping. 👍
