BenRiach 1992 22 Years Single Malt Whisky

Just had a glass of this. 🥃 Smells lovely, hint of vanilla and fruit 🍐. Goes down smooth, warms the chest nicely. Bit of oak at the end, very comforting. Definitly makes me feel chuffed. Nice dram for a rainy day. 🌧️ Cheers.

Right then, let's have a wee taste... 😌 Nose first: stewed orchard fruits, bit of toffee apple, maybe a whisper of woodsmoke. Not in yer face, gentle like. On the palate? Ooft. Spiced honey, a touch of cinnamon, some dark choccy. Gets a bit peppery, warms the chest nicely. There's a wave of dried fruit - sultanas? - and just a hint of seasalt tingle. Finish is medium, leaving a gentle glow, like the embers of a peat fire mixed with a sweet biscuity note. Not a sherry bomb, more... balanced. Aye, very sessionable. 🥃 Defo picking up some vanilla pod and a wee bit of nutmeg right at the back of the throat. Cheers!

Blimey, this whisky’s got a right proper nose on it 🔥. Smells like a cozy fireplace with hints of vanilla and maybe some dried apple. On the palate, it’s smooth as silk, with a bit of spice and caramel sweetness. Almost like a warm hug in a glass. 😊 Finish is long and warming, perfect for a rainy evening. Got a slight smokiness that lingers nicely. Cheers to that! 🥃 Sometimes I get a bit of chocolatey notes too, which is lovely. Really nice dram overall. 👍

Nose: smoky, kinda sweet? Palate: oily, oaky, vanilla, bit of citrus... Finish: long, warming, woody. Nice one. 👍

Oof, that’s a proper noseful right off the bat. All that peati smoke, like a damp bonfire by the sea. 🌊🔥 Taste-wise, gettin’ some sweet vanilla and stewed fruit first, then – wham – the sherry cask kicks in. Dried figs, maybe? A wee hint of dark chocolate. Rich, like. Finishes long and warming, a bit oaky with a peppery kick. Leaves that lovely smoky afterglow. Quite a ride, that one. Just lovely. 👍

Just had a proper sip... smells like a warm hug, y'know? 🔥 Vanilla, maybe some dried fruit, and a little woody smoke. First taste is... wow. Smooth, but with a punch. Dark chocolate, almost, with some spice coming in later. It warms you right up, real nice. Finish is long, a bit spicy, leaving this sweet, oaky taste. Brilliant. 🥃 Bit of a kick at the end, in a good way. Really complex, could taste it all night. Proper good stuff.
