Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right, poured a wee dram tonight 🥃 Colur is rich, like amber gold. Nose hits you with vanilla and dried fruits 🍇 Taste is smooth, no burn at all. Sweet honey at first, then a bit of oak spice kicks in. Finish lingers... warm and cozy 🔥 Proper nice for a rainy evening. Think I'll have anothr glass 😅

2#2

Oak and a bit of smoke, init? 😌 Then you get this lovely honey sweetness, maybe some dried fruit. Spicy finish, like a good gingercake. 🥃 Proper autumn dram, that.

3#3

Blimey, this one's got a right nice citrus kick – fresh lime and a bit of apple comin' through. Then some smoky notes hit, with a touch of honey sweetness on the finish. Reely pleasant! 🥃

4#4

Ah, this whisky's got a real nice smokiness to it 🌲. Hints of vanilla and a bit of caramel sweetness 🍯, not too over the top. Some fruity notes too, like apple or pear 🍏. The finish is spicy, maybe a touch of cinnimon, and it warms you right up. Feels quite smooth, perfect for a quiet evening. 👍

5#5

Oof, right. Deep amber colour, like old honey. Nose? A proper wiff of burnt sugar an’ a bit of smoky pear, maybe. 🍯 Taste’s lovely. Warm spices, a bit of clove, an’ some chewy toffee. Smooth as anything, really. Goes down a treat. 🥃 Finish’s long, with a gentle warmth an’ a touch of dried fruit. Properly good for a chilly evening.
