Bruichladdich Old Particular 2005 12 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, just poured a glass. 🥃 Smells proper nice, hints of vanila and orchard fruits 🍎. Taste is smooth, definately some oak and toffee 🍯. Bit of spice on the finish, keeps you warm. Lovely dram for a quiet evening 🌧️. Would recomend having a go.

Right then, let’s have a proper nosing… Nose is all **peat reek** straight off, bonfire embers and a wee bit of TCP. Behind that, there’s a briny sea spray tang, almost like licking a salty rock 🌊. Palate’s got that **smokey** hug right away, oily and warm. Then it opens up—zesty lemon peel, a spoonful of honey, and a crack of black pepper. There’s a dried apricot sweetness hiding in the back, but the smoulder never really leaves ya. Finish is long and gentle ash, with a whisp of oak and maybe a touch of vanilla fudge if you squint. Proper dram, that. Defo one to sit with on a dreich night 🔥🥃.

Right so first whiff - got this lovely caramel and vanilla sweetness comin through 🍯 Then there's a bit of smoke init, not too heavy like, just gentle. Quite nice actually. Tastin notes: deffo gettin some honey and maybe dried fruit? A touch of spice too which is quite pleasant 👌 Finish is warm an long, got this oak character lingerin about. Really rather good tbh. Would deffo have another dram of this one ☺️

Finish is warm and lingers nicely, a bit of oak too. 🥃 Sometimes I get a hint of spice, maybe cinnamon. Really enjoyin' it on a chilly evening. 😊 Colour's a lovely amber, looks proper nice in the glass.

Hints of honey & oak, me mate said it’s like a campfire in a sweetshop 🔥🍬 Can’t put me finger on it... summat spicy? Cinnamon? Aye, definitely a good sipper. Mmm.

Tastin' this whiskey, I get a luvly smoky aroma on the nose 🌟. On the palate, it's smooth and fruity with hints of vanila and caramel. Quite warmin' and rich, with a bit of spice. Really enjoyble! 😋 A bit of oak and honey coming through, luv it.
