Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Alright, so this one's got that lovely smoky character init 🔥 Bit of peat on the nose, hints of dried fruits and sherry comin through. Honey notes too, really quite nice 👌 On the palate it's malty, caramelly, and a wee bit nutty. Rich and smooth, with some oakiness lingerin about. Finish is long, warm, proper satisfying stuff 🥃 Lovely wee dram for a cold evenin!

2#2

Right, so first sip - 🔥 warming, kinda like a hug from the inside. Then you get this... sort of nutty, vanilla thing, with a bit of 🔥 apple peel. There's a wisp of 🌿 smoke, but it's gentle, not a bonfire. Finish is long, leaves this lovely dark chocolate and 🍯 honey taste. Quite smooth, really. Proper good for a slow evening.

Oh, this whisky is brilliant! 🎉 Nose has a lovely smoky note, with a hint of fruit. Tastes smooth and rich, like honey on a cold day. Finish is warm and lingering. Absolutely love it! 👍

4#4

Nose is lovely and fruity, like stewed apples 🍎 with a hint of vanilla. Quite frankly, it's got a real nice smokiness 🔥 on the palate, mind you. Finish is long and warm, a bit peppery. Yeh, I'd say it's a solid dram for a cold evenin'.
