Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Oh blimey, this whiskey's got a proper cozy vibe to it. 🥃 First sip, there's a right smoky warmth, like a bonfire on Guy Fawkes night. Then it mellows into sweet fruity bits – think apples or pears, maybe. A dash of spice too, just to keep things interestin'. So smooth, really. Makes ya feel all relaxed and content. Perfect for a quiet evening in. 😊

2#2

Ooh, this one's a proper journey init. First sip is like a cozy fireplace 🔥, all smoky and warm. But then... loads of fruit kicks in! 🍎🍐 Like baked apples with honey drizzled on 'em. There's a nuttiness too, bit like toasted almonds. Finish is long, sligtly spicy 🌶️, leaves a lovely sweetness on the tongue. Really moreish stuff, makes you want another wee dram. Pairs brill with a dark chocolate biscuit, just sayin'. 🍫

3#3

Right, so when I take a sniff, I get this lovely mix of dried fruits and a bit of oak – it’s quite inviting. On the tounge, it’s smooth, with some vanilla and a subtle smokiness that lingers. The finish is warming, leaves a nice aftertaste. 😊 Sometimes there’s a hint of citrus too, which is lovely. Overall, it’s a solid dram for a cosy evening.

4#4

Right, so this dram's got a real deep amber hue. On the nose, it's all honey and a bit of smoky oak, maybe some dried fruit in there too. First sip, you get that sweet, malty hit with a touch of vanilla and a hint of spice – sort of like cinnamon or nutmeg. The finish is long and warming, leaving a slight smokiness on the tongue. Quite easy-drinking, really. 🥃 Oh, and there's this subtle fruity note, like apples or pears, that comes through after a while. Really balanced, not too harsh.
