Tasting Notes & Reviews
Expert analysis and tasting impressions
Right then, poured myself a dram 🥃. Colur is rich, looks proper nice in the light. Nose has smoke and honey 🍯... sweet it is. Taste warms the throat. Bit of spice hits quick. Definitly smooth though. No harshness. Finish stays awhile. Reminds me of autumn evenin' 🍂. Feelin' cozy now. Good stuff for relaxin'. Cheers mates 🍻.
Right, so this whisky's got a lovely smoky kick with sum hints of honey and oak. 🥃 It's smooth on the palate, with a warming finish that lingers nicely. Quite enjoyed it, really! 😊 Tastes a bit fruity too, maybe apple or pear? Reminds me of autumn days. 🍂
Right, so this one's proper interesting... First sip and you get this lovely smokiness 🌫️, not too harsh mind you, more like a campfire on a cold autumn evening. Then the sweetness kicks in - got some nice toffee and caramel notes going on, almost buttery realy. The middle bit is where it gets complex, innit? Getting hints of dried fruit, maybe some sherry influence there, touch of dark chocolate too 🍫. Little bit of spice, cinnamon and nutmeg I reckon, warming but not burning. Finish is long and warm 🔥, leaves this lovely smoky-sweet thing lingering. Bit of oak coming through at the end, maybe some vanilla too. Honestly? It's one of them whiskies you just want to sit with on a Friday night, proper cozy like. The peat isn't overwhelming which is nice, just enough to remind you it's there. Would defo have another dram of this 👍
