Laphroaig 1999 11 Years Single Malt Whisky

Right, had a nip of this wisky 🥃. Nose is sweet, proper honey and orange zest 🍯🍊. Palate... warm spice, bit of cinnamon maybe. Finish is long, oaky 🌲. Very comforting for a rainy night. Would definately have another glass. Cheers mates 🍻.

Right, so I'm getting some light, grassy notes first off. Quite fresh, y'know? Then there's this sweet bit, maybe honey or apple. A bit of citrus peel in there too. Mid-palate gets a bit floral, like heather. Touch of spice, just gentle. Oak comes through subtly, not too strong. Finish is clean, crisp. Slight hint of butterscotch? Quite refreshing, actually. 🍯🍎✨
