Tasting Notes & Reviews

Expert analysis and tasting impressions

1#1

Right then, proper nice dram tonight 🥃 Nose is sweet, hints of honey and smoke. Warms you right up, smooth as anything. Finish lingers on, very moreish indeed. Definitly one for a quiet evening in. 🌧️ Cheers mates 🍻

2#2

Right then, just had a proper crack at this one. 🥃 First thing that hits you is this lovely, sticky honey sort of thing, with a bit of dark fruitcake in there. Then it gets all woody, like an old drawer in a nice way. 😊 The smoke is there, but it’s gentle, not like a bonfire. More like a distant chimney on a cold night. Finished it off and got this lasting taste of spicy oak and… is it orange peel? Cracking stuff.

3#3

Honey and spice on the nose, kwite rich. A bit of oak and vanilla, mabye some smoke? 🍯🥃 Quite warming, aye.

4#4

Nose: Quite smoky 🌫️ with some honey and a bit of spice. Really nice. Palate: Smooth. Get toffee, leather, and a bit of vanila. A littel spicy but pleasent. Finish: Long and warming. The woody notes stay with you. Overall, a proper sipper. Enjoying it neat on a cold evening. ☕
